Fińska alternatywa w B90 – Jaakko Eino Kalevi zagra w Gdańsku!

Jedna z ciekawszych postaci współczesnego elektro-popu wystąpi pod koniec marca w Trójmieście.  Artysta będzie promował swój najnowszy solowy album zatytułowany po prostu „Jaakko Eino Kalevi”.

Jaakko Eino Kalevi to fiński multinstrumentalista, producent i wokalista. Kalevi dorastał w pięknej fińskiej miejscowości Jyväskylä, położonej nad malowniczym jeziorem Päijänne. Na stałe drugim domem artysty zostały jednak Helsinki, gdzie pracował jako motorniczy.

 

Jego miłość do muzyki rozpoczęła się jednak dużo wcześniej, konkretnie w połowie lat 90, kiedy dwunastoletni Kalevi usłyszał po raz pierwszy hard rockowo-heavy metalowe brzmienie Dream Theatre i postanowił zostać gitarzystą. Po opanowaniu gry na tym instrumencie przyszedł czas na perkusję, przy której jak sam Kalevi przyznaje, czuje się najlepiej.

 

Jednak późniejsze muzyczne zainteresowania fińskiego muzyka przeniosły się z rockowych brzmień bardziej w kierunku hiphopu i nauki samplowania. Potem przyszedł czas na reggae, disco, elektronikę i muzykę pop. Różnorodność gatunków, którymi interesował się Kalevi bardzo mocno wpłynęła na jego własną twórczość, gdzie lekko rozmarzone popowe brzmienie tego fińskiego artysty łączy się z elementami elektroniki, funku i alternatywy. Teraz również trójmiejska publiczność będzie mogła usłyszeć muzykę tworzoną przez Jakko Eino Kaleviego. Zdecydowanie warto!
